"I was not sure what this would be like having ordered it online without having seen it, now having had it for a couple of weeks I am impressed and think this is exceptional value. I planned to use it as a trail cutter and throw it around a bit in the meantime, so part tool, part pleasure. The steel is great. Very thin blade combined with holding an edge means it cuts through thick branches quickly and cleanly. As for the throwing, it took me awhile to figure out which position my hand had to be in to release properly, but once I figured it out, I realized the balance was dead on perfect.
